Moms on Facebook Are Savvy to Marketers [STATS]

2009 was a big year for social media moms, with brands like Huggies actively targeting this increasingly tech-savvy demographic. Brand outreach to moms via social networking will only increase in 2010, but as an eMarketer study points out, the method of that outreach is of vital importance — especially when using Facebook. Lisa Finn and Lucid Marketing collected data from moms who are also Facebook users and found that most are neutral about ads that appear on Facebook, but 36% actively disliked Facebook ads.
